Two parents and a 6-year-old are seeking an experienced Part-Time Nanny. (4 Hours/Day)

 
 

Our 6-year-old started1st Grade) in early August 2023, at Hope Hill Elementary, which is within 7 minutes driving distance from the family's residence. 

Candidates should have previous experience in a similar position(s), a valid driver’s license, and their own vehicle for transporting the 6-year-old.

Typical Day:

Start: 2:30

2:40 - Pick up 6 Year Old from Hope Hill Elementary School - M-F

3:00 - Snack-Time

3:30 - Educational Games / Activities / Homework

4:30 - Phone / TV Time (Light Housekeeping. See below)

5:00 - Dinner Time

5:30 - Bath Time

6:00 - Prep for Bed Time

6:15 - Lay Out Clothes for the Next Day

End: 6:30

Overall Responsibilities:

Transportation

  • Transport:

    • From Hope Hill Elementary School - Pick-Up Monday - Friday at 2:40 pm

    • To and from Ballet, play dates, etc. - Schedule TBD

Light Housekeeping

  • 6 Year Old’s

    • 1 Bedroom

    • 1 Bathroom

    • 1 Play Room

    • Living Room (6-Year-Old’s Toys, Games, etc.)

Health and Diet

  • Dinner and healthy snacks.

    • Work with parents to develop child-friendly options

Laundry

  • For 6 Year Old - Once Weekly

general

  • Work collaboratively with parents to assist with developmental milestones

  • Manage seasonal wardrobes, closet system, and clothing size rotations

  • Guide etiquette and manners

  • Assist with homework and projects

Experience & Requirements

  • Experienced working with children 5 - 10 years old

  • 3-5 years overall experience

  • 2-3+ references

  • Ability to complete extensive background checks, motor vehicle checks, drug tests, etc.

  • Must be vaccinated (e.g., COVID, MMR, TDap, Flu Shot, etc.)

  • Driver's license and clean driving record

  • CPR Certification (Or willing to become certified) is a plus
